Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting one of the most relaxed couples I’ve ever worked with, Leah and Blake. Their wedding at The George Hotel in historic Picton was a huge success. This shot is my absolute favorite and I just love it for so many reasons. The position Leah sat in created such a beautiful mood for this shot, the shape and gap between her hand and neck look gorgeous. The way the light hit her head piece and bracelets looks amazing, just having those two highlights helps separate her for the background and add a little more texture rather than just a simple black and white cut out silhouette. The final feature I love is the gentle glow of light coming from behind her veil.
