As a Sydney wedding photographer I’d like to think that I know a lot of very cool locations to photograph engagement sessions so It’s not often that a you discover a new spot hidden in the middle of the city.
Josh our groom to be was doing some research and came across Wendy’s secret Garden in Lavender Bay on the North side of the Harbour Bridge. What an amazing location this is as the name depicts it’s quiet a hidden little gem and if you didn’t know where to enter you’d have no idea it even existed. It’s like you’ve walked into a mini rain forest but then it gets even better there’s tables and chairs so you can chill on a hot summers day under the canopy of the trees.
First we started shooting here at Wendy’s secret garden then we moved to the bottom of the garden where it meets with the Lavender Bay Ferry wharf stop which was an amazing view of the harbour and the bridge. Then we headed to a second location just down the road for sunset so we could capture Josh and Laura in the golden hour of light at sunset. These guys were so easy to work with it honestly was non stop laughs I was wondering what Josh was saying half the time to get those type of reactions.
I’m super pumped to capture the wedding if this was anything to go by the day is going to be fun fun fun.
