Maria and Chris wed in beautiful Wollongong earlier this November. First I started with Maria in Gymea in the Sutherland shire where she was well prepared when I arrived for some formal photos. Maria was Filipino and had quite a few family members out to share in her special day which really mad it special for her.
After the girls I headed down the coast to Wollongong to photograph the boys getting ready. Chris our groom lived quiet close to the church St Francis Xaviours catholic cathedral Wollongong which always help. After taking a few shots with the boys and mum and dad we headed down to the church where the formalities begun.
The ceremony went off without any issues and finally two became one. After the ceremony we headed to The Conservatorium of music in Wollongong which is just next to the Botanic gardens. Boy was I impressed here as a Wollongong wedding photographer I’m always looking for new locations and this place has it all. The huge old conservatorium building, green grass and trees, benches and just amazingly manicured gardens perfect for wedding photos.
We left the con for the lighthouse in Wollongong one of the most iconic locations for wedding photos. What I love here is that essentially you have 3 great locations in one. The lighthouse, the big rocks and of course the beach.
After all the formal photos were taken we headed to the Novotel Wollongong to get the party underway. The Novotel is a great little venue simply because it’s centrally located to everything the service and food is outstanding and the atmosphere is always welcoming.
I hope you enjoy these highlights from Chris and Maria’s wedding.
