Tara and Michael are set to wed in March 2017 at the gorgeous Harrington Grove Country Club in the Macarthur. Before Tara booked she want to have an engagement session. Her words to me were “I want amazing Andrew!” So the challenge was set, who doesn’t like a challenge lol.
We set out to meet on Sunday afternoon an hour before sunset as this is always refereed to as the golden hour by all photographers because of the beautiful warm glow that you get when the sun is setting. However on this fine day it decided to rain non stop with crazy cold winds and big dark clouds. I have to give it to Tara and Michael as they were absolute champions with this horrible weather that we were delt. We pushed on and walked around the headlands at La Perouse, over the bridge to Bare Island and used the rocks. We ventured under the long jetty also which made for a great location as the waves came crashing all around us.
The last shot of the day was my absolute favorite. (the feature image at the top) The sun was trying to break through the clouds so the colour of the sky was epic it made this crazy orangy/brown look which just worked so well for this image as it portrays the mood of their passion so well.
I hope you love all these images as much as I do and I can’t wait to shoot the wedding.
