Rebecca and William wed in the Southern Highlands in Autumn 2017. They choose the beautiful Southern Highlands Winery just past Moss Vale to hold their wedding.
I started the day with the boys nice and early in Bowral. They were well prepared for my arrival even a little to prepared as I like to capture ties and shoes going on naturally so the boys prepared themselves and i captured some beautiful candid photos as they fumbled around putting on ties and folding pocket squares. Once the boys were dressed I took Will aside and took a few cool shots of him alone in a few of the rooms in this old enchanted house that they had rented for the weekend. All the props were there ready to use it was a perfect location.
After the boys it was off to the girls who weren’t far away from the boys they were also in East Bowral. When I arrived the girls were busy getting hair and makeup done which gave me time to take a few detail shots before Bec put her dress on. Once all the girls were beautified and dressed I first took Bec aside and took some gorgeous pre wedding bridal photos in the living room. Mum and dad were there so I took this opportunity to take a beautiful moment with mum dad and bride pre wedding that I thought would really show the love that all 3 have for each other. Once all our photos were taken here it was off to the Southern Highlands Winery for the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony was held on the front lawn right next to the vineyard which made such a stunning backdrop. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch and after half and hour Will and Bec were officially hitched! From here we took some family photos and then the bridal party and I went to take all the formal bridal photos.
What I love about this venue is that you can shoot at so many different locations all within meters of the actual venue. You have the lake and surrounding trees, the Vineyard, the vast open fields with rolling hills in the background, the tree lines driveway and of course the venue itself there’s absolutely no shortage of spots to shoot.
After all our bridal portraits were finished it was time to get the party started. Will and Bec had chosen the Barrell room which was perfect for their more intimate wedding. The room was styled beautifully with flowers and great table decorations there was even a Polaroid photo booth for guests to take their own photos and keep. I love the rustic feel of this room with the barrell’s as the main feature wall behind the bridal table. As the night went on everyone enjoyed the speeches and then everyone got loose on the dance floor until the lights went out at 11pm and it was time to call it a night.
Congratulations Bec and Will once again I hope you love these images as much as I do.
