Amba and Chris’s wedding was held at one of the most amazing venues on the South Coast. The Terrara House Estate just outside Nowra is the perfect venue to do it all. From their home grown veggie patch, beautifully landscaped gardens and flawless service from the staff, this is why everyone had such a great day.
I arrived fairly early and spent some time with the boys as they played cards and enjoyed a brew or two before they started to suit up for the ceremony. One thing that cracked me up on the day was what happened after Chris and the guys arrived from their morning round of golf in a taxi. They sat down outside the suite at the stables with beers to relax before getting dressed. When I noticed a little commotion, I asked what was going on it turns out that Chris had left his speech in the back seat of the taxi. So it was on, Chris called the taxi company and found the driver in a nik of time. The driver kindly returned with his speech.
Once the speech had been recovered I was off to the girls who were only next door, one of the great things about shooting at this location there’s no need to go running around from location to location. Amba and the girls were all running to schedule which was great. Once the girls were ready we took some formal pictures and then headed out to the main garden for the ceremony.
After the ceremony which ran smoothly we head out around the property to take some pictures. Man I just love this location it has absolutely everything a photographer could want. Trees, horses, fence lines, beautiful gardens and a private maze hedge.
The reception started and ran well people started to dance and party and overall everyone seemed to be having a ball. Thank you Chris and Amba for choosing to have me as your wedding photographer I hope you love these shots as much as I do.
